Scabies Medical Intervention (Project 4)

In response to a health crisis, the LeaderJoe 1808 Foundation launched a large-scale medical outreach on August 25, 2024, to combat a Scabies outbreak in the Tudun Biri community. The intervention involved a dedicated team of medical professionals who provided free consultations, treated 1,000 residents, and distributed essential medications to curb the spread of the infection.

Feed a Thousand Kaduna

Under the banner 'Embracing humanity and working together to uplift each other,' the 2023 Feed a Thousand project targeted vulnerable populations in Kaduna. The foundation distributed specially packaged food bags labeled 'NOT FOR SALE' containing rice and condiments to over 1,000 underprivileged individuals to alleviate hunger.

Clean Up Sabo Project

The Clean Up Sabo Project was a community-driven environmental sanitation initiative. A mobilized team of volunteers, clad in purple vests, utilized shovels, brooms, and disposal trucks to clear refuse and improve hygiene standards within the Sabo community, reinforcing the message of environmental responsibility.

To combat waterborne diseases and improve community health, the foundation implemented a clean water project in Shere Community. This infrastructure initiative involved the installation of boreholes and advanced water filtration systems, ensuring sustainable access to safe drinking water for local residents.

Junior Golf Championship

Held from December 16th-18th, 2022, this tournament was organized to promote peace, cultural diversity, and productivity among youth. It served as a key resource mobilization event for the foundation's 2023 Back2School Program. Notably, participating young Nigerian players were recognized and placed in world amateur golf rankings.

Back 2 School Project (Sokoto Phase 2)

Back 2 School Project (Sokoto Phase 2)

Executed on October 12, 2022, in collaboration with Beraka Better Life Initiative. This phase saw a 300% increase in impact, awarding scholarships to 40 out-of-school children (up from 15). The project also supported 10 special needs students (PWD) with educational materials at A.A. Raji Primary and Secondary School.

Back 2 School Project (Abuja Phase 3)

As part of the foundation's consolidation efforts in the Federal Capital Territory, this phase of the Back 2 School project successfully identified and placed 10 vulnerable students under the foundation's full education scholarship scheme, providing them with uniforms and learning materials.

World Hepatitis Day Advocacy

Marking World Hepatitis Day on July 28th with the theme 'Let's STOP the spread', this was a massive online advocacy campaign. The program successfully sensitized over 10,000 participants on the critical need for early testing, treatment of the disease, and vaccination.

Feed A Child Series

Carried out in two phases during March and June 2022, this project directly addressed UNSDG 2 (Zero Hunger). The foundation provided nutritious meals to over a hundred internally displaced children and adults living in vulnerable camp conditions.

Women in Sport Health Intervention

Partnering with the 1st TYB Ladies Open Golf Championship held from May 19th-22nd, 2022, the foundation deployed a medical team to carry out health screenings and administer treatments to participants before, during, and after the games to ensure athlete well-being.

Women Empowerment Program

Launched on May 1st, 2022, this ongoing project focused on skills acquisition for self-reliance. It included training 100 women from IDP camps in fashion design and sewing, and training 50 orphans in Agro-processing, specifically in food powdering and natural preservation techniques.

Project Give A Book

In a quest to promote a reading culture among internally displaced persons, the foundation, in collaboration with RABNI, built and equipped 'The Changemakers Library'. This facility now serves over 300 children at the basic education level within the Durumi IDP Camp.

Community Water Rehabilitation

At the tail-end of 2021, the foundation rehabilitated a pipe-borne water system in an underserved community within the FCT. This infrastructure project was executed in commemoration of the annual Feed One Thousand program to provide lasting value beyond food aid.

Held on September 20, 2020, in partnership with the Mercy Michael Foundation. The team provided free medical health screening, including blood pressure and glucose checks, and donated relief materials to over 500 internally displaced persons in Zonkwa, Southern Kaduna.

On August 1st, 2020, at Millennium Park, the foundation combined sports with health by organizing a Kitty Golf competition alongside a free medical outreach. The medical team screened and treated over 350 individuals for malaria and high sugar levels.

Orphanage Renovation & Health Intervention

Commissioned on July 17, 2020, to commemorate Nelson Mandela Day, this project involved renovating two blocks of 6 classrooms at the Alpha & Omega Orphanage Foundation. Partners included JCI, YALI Abuja Network, and SAM Empowerment Foundation. The project also included a drug dispensary and food donations.

A targeted relief project for people living with disabilities and their children in Karimajiji who were severely affected by hunger during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. The foundation successfully provided food aid to over 1,000 children and adults.

A massive three-day health outreach project held in New Kuchigoro starting October 26, 2019. In collaboration with JCI, PeachAid, and Lola Cater, the foundation provided screenings and medical aid to over 3,000 beneficiaries, including children, women, and youths.
